Ariane Laxo, Allied AIA

Ariane is Director of Sustainability at HGA Architects & Engineers, leading planning and design work in decarbonization, resilience, and design for healthy communities. She has been an industry leader in working to incorporate climate projection data into practice and advocating for advancement in the AE sector’s standard of care to better prepare clients and ecosystems for the impacts of climate change. She works at the building and campus scale to integrate climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies into higher education, corporate, government, healthcare, and cultural planning and design projects.
