Takaharu Tezuka

Takaharu Tezuka, Hon. FAIA, is the Founder and Principal of Tezuka Architects with his partner Yui Tezuka. He is most renowned for the Fuji Kindergarten, a project recognized by UNESCO and the OECD as a global benchmark for educational design, which exemplifies his commitment to spaces that fosters curiosity and social interaction. A recipient of the World Architecture Festival Award and the Architectural Institute of Japan Prize, Tezuka continues to advocate for a design ethos grounded in empathy, tradition, and the belief that buildings should serve as active catalysts for community and human growth.
